TMZ was among a gaggle of paps who swarmed Nia Long in Beverly Hills Tuesday and asked about her beef with Taraji P. Henson that went down on the set of “Empire.”

The actress insisted there was never any beef with Henson, and that reports of her threatening to sue the show over an improper goodbye were false.

“There was no lawsuit. I love Taraji, she’s an amazing actress. There’s no beef with us at all,” said Long as she walked toward her parked Porsche – only to find a ticket on the windshield.

Once inside her car, she said in parting: “Taraji is a wonderful actress. She deserves all the accolades she’s getting. It’s never been about that. I respect her, she respects me. The work is the work.”
