We have plenty of things that will put a smile on your face this week.
1. A BIG tip for a bigger reason.
A white Trump supporter named Jason White gave his waitress named Rosalynd Harris a huge tip and a nice note, that read:
“We may come from different cultures and may disagree on certain issues, but if everyone would share their smile and kindness like your beautiful smile, our country will come together as one people. Not race. Not gender. Just American.”
2. The stop of a lifetime
Ohio bus driver Damone Hudson saved a woman’s life after he pulled his bus over and chatted with her after noticing her standing on the ledge of bridge and considering jumping off.
3. Chance The Rapper gives back to Chicago.
In case you somehow managed to miss this story, Chance The Rapper made big headlines this week after donating $1 million to Chicago Public Schools. Read about it here.
4. Teen who walked 5 hours to work gets new car.
The Benicia Police Department in California stepped up for 18-year-old Jourdan Duncan after learning that he walked nearly five hours to and from work.
The department set up a GoFundMe page which garnered $40k to purchase the grateful teen a Volkswagen Passat.
5. Talk about barging in.
