Snoop Dogg’s 17-year-old daughter Cori B posted a message of self-love on Instagram where she opens up about finally loving her beautifully rich, coco skin. Growing up in hip hop surely had to be a mindf–k on the child, as it has never been a lifestyle that truly embraces dark skin women (just ask Lil Kim). Luckily, Cori has come to finally accept her skin tone despite society, and her father’s profession, attempting to make her feel differently.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old Willow Smith has also taken to her Instagram page to condemn misogyny and to celebrate women who aren’t afraid to hide their bodies.

She posted a picture she drew of a woman’s buttocks and captioned it “Still not asking for it.”“Stop telling women to hide their bodies just because some men have 0 self awareness or control and don’t respect autonomy,” Willow wrote. “It’s about instilling the fact that all lives deserve respect despite who they are AND your personal biases. It’s about planting the seed of compassion within the young, instead of the need to control.”

She continued, “This has A LOT to do with parenting (and many other things that we won’t get into right now.) Misogyny is just a paradigm forced into and followed by generations and generations. We need to observe OUR OWN racist and sexist tendencies that may be conscious or subconscious, we need to look them in the face and CHOOSE to exist within the paradigm of respect, love, and independence.”
