Fox is bringing back “Empire” star Taraji P. Henson for her second annual “Taraji’s White Hot Holidays” special in December.
Well, last year it was called “Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays,” but her ‘Empire” co-star Terrence Howard will neither co-host nor appear on the special this year, according to his complete absence on Fox’s press release.
Jussie Smollett, Taye Diggs, Pharrell Williams, Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC, Snoop Dogg and TLC are scheduled to perform during the one-hour music and variety special, which will feature renditions of classic holiday songs.
Tyler Perry and Terry Crews are set to make cameo appearances.
Fox’s “Taraji’s White Hot Holidays” special will air Thursday, Dec. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).
Henson also serves as a producer on the special, along with Casey Patterson Entertainment, Jane Mun, Greg Sills and Vincent Cirrincione.
