R&B legend Stevie Wonder reportedly turned his back on his 10th child, according to The National Enquirer. The artist wants nothing to do with a secret love child whose mother is dying of lung cancer.

Wonder’s rumored love “child” is 49-year-old Stephanie Mathis. Her cancer-stricken mother, Gloria Jean Mathis Greenidge, claims her daughter is named after her world-famous dad, and she desperately wants them to meet “before it’s too late.”

A heartbroken Stephanie, 49, says: “I just want to spend time with my dad.”

Gloria hooked up with a teenaged Stevie shortly after meeting him when he was performing at the old Uptown Theater in Philadelphia back in the late 1960s.

Wonder has nine children by five different women. The mother of his first child is Yolanda Simmons. She and Wonder share a daughter, Aisha Morris. After Aisha was born, Stevie said “she was the one thing that I needed in my life and in my music for a long time.” Morris was the inspiration for Wonder’s hit single “Isn’t She Lovely?”
