Guard your daughters and your wives. Guess who’s a free man? Jeremy Meeks, the Southern California felon whose sexy mugshot blew up the internet two years ago has been released from prison. And apparently, now that all that pesky prison time is behind him, he may legitimately have a modeling career. Hey, he wouldn’t be the first celebrity with a criminal past. Someone needs to put him in a video or something, don’t you think?
He’s bringing sexy back — from prison.
Jeremy Meeks’ beautiful mugshot was plastered all over the Internet after he was arrested in June 2014 for gun possession.
He was sentenced in July 2015 to 27 months in prison and was reportedly released on Wednesday to the delight of many online admirers.
The “hot convict” or “sexy felon” as he was quickly labeled is now embarking on a whole new journey: modeling.
After his mugshot was posted to the Stockton Police Department’s Facebook page, it racked up more than 100,000 likes.
Meeks is now represented by a legitimate model management company which says he has numerous modeling and TV deals in the works.
Let’s hope he uses this opportunity to pursue a new life direction.
