Don Lemon tracked down Chicago rapper King Louie – fresh from being shot in his hometown last week.
The artist, who was first to use the term Chi-raq to describe the gun violence in his city, told the CNN anchor that he was hit seven times during the shooting.
“Three of the slugs are still with me today,” he said. “Two in my chest, one in my head.”
King Louie said he’s currently working on a project asking people to “put the guns down.”
