If there is one thing that Rachel Dolezal wants us to know, it is that she’s a proud White woman in blackface Black woman.

You remember Rachel, right?

The White woman who lied about being Black and became the president of the Spokane, Washington NAACP before her parents exposed her true (lack of) color. Well, in an interview with Vice.com, Dolezal joked about her soon-to-born son (whom she is naming Langston in honor of Langston Hughes) hopefully being transgender because she wanted a girl, while also claiming that she’s “the only person equally hated by the KKK and Black feminists.”

The Pretender claims that she’s struggled with depression since being outed as White and worried that she had become a liability to her Black adopted son. Smiling widely for the camera with her curly, black weave — so she doesn’t have to “wear a hat in winter” — and a day-glow tan that John Boehner would be proud of, Dolezal is happy to show off her Spike Lee inspired artwork and a photo of the KKK chasing a little, Black girl above her bed.

She wants us to know that she’s Blackity-Black-Black-Bliggity-Black, y’all.

Dolezal repeats that she never saw herself as White. Even in school when it was time for self-portraits, she would use brown crayons because the “peach one” didn’t fit her face. She says that she has “rhythm” and that her oldest son’s father, who is Black, didn’t like when she blacked herself up.

Their son, Franklin, describes his father as an “oreo.”
