Back in August, Busta Rhymes was arrested on charges of second degree assault after an altercation with a Steel Gym employee ended with the rapper throwing a protein shake at the guy. He avoided jail time by striking a plea deal with the prosecutor and agreeing to attend anger management class. Surveillance footage from the day of the incident has surfaced and it clearly shows why the New York native needs to spend a few hours under supervised timeout sessions.

Peep the video altercation below. There’s no sound, but it shows Busta losing it on the employee after some sort of verbal dispute. The video shows the employee reach for something under the desk, which seems to enrage Busta even more, and the scene quickly turns physical, with Busta hurling a bottle of Muscle Milk at the guy.

Busta then clears the counter top – taking out everything in front of the guy … including his computer monitor, as TMZ notes.

In an interview with Page Six, the gym employee, Ole Hernandez, recounted the incident, saying Busta is “a self-absorbed hothead who launched into an offensive tirade,” because the day before his cameraman was told that he could not enter the facility without permission.

“You don’t know who I am! I’m Busta Rhymes!” the rapper shouted, according to Hernandez. “I’m the real n***a! You’re a f***ing f**got, you are a p***y! You are a Mexican crossing the border to come to this country, I will f**k you up.”

Steel Gym owner Ken Hunt said it was quite disappointing for Rhymes to use gay and racial slurs in front of other members, some of whom are gay or black.

What the video doesn’t show is one of Rhymes’ security guards going behind the counter and shoving Hernandez into an office door, breaking it – resulting in a hospital visit for Ole, who says he’s furious that the rapper was able to cut a no-jail deal.

“I don’t even know who he is,” Hernandez sniffed. “I am a Mexican, I like mariachi. I don’t like rap.”
