Jacque Reid goes Inside Her Story with Tisha Campbell-Martin about her new song, Steel Here, that deals with the rape she endured as a child, forgiveness and new ABC show, Dr. Ken, starring alongside Ken Jeong.

“The actual song itself was written about all the things one would go through. People have taken knocks and bumps and gone up and down the roller coaster of life.”

On being sexually assaulted at age three:

“The actual video is about forgiveness. The person wrote me a five page letter and once I received the letter…I do understand, most people don’t get acknowledgement, let a lone an apology. So that letter helped me to forgive.”
