The son of famed NFL linebacker Lawrence Taylor pleaded guilty to statutory rape, child molestation, and aggravated sodomy (oral sex), and was sentenced to 30 years in prison, reports TMZ Sports.
Lawrence Taylor Jr. was arrested in Georgia after two 13-year-old girls told police he had forced himself on them during separate occasions.
According to Cobb County Superior Court officials, Taylor Jr. will be eligible for release in 10 years, despite his 30-year sentence
TMZ Sports spoke with the father of one of the victims, who says he is happy Taylor Jr. is off the streets, but feels he should have gotten a longer sentence.
Meanwhile, Lawrence Taylor Sr. pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute in 2011, stemming from an incident with an underage girl.
