We just got word that legendary blues man B.B. King was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital this past weekend for a diabetes-related emergency.
According to King’s rep, he is still hospitalized at a medical center near his Vegas home.
TMZ says a source informed them that the cause of the 89-year-old’s health emergency was due to dehydration from his Type II diabetes.
In 2014 he cancelled all of his performances due to medical issues.
King has lived with diabetes for more than two decades.
