Did President Obama throw a little shade at Michael Jordan after Jordan dissed his golf game? A few days ago, Jordan was interviewed by Ahmad Rashad and asked who he’d play with in a golf foursome. First he said Obama, then took it back, calling the President a “hacker.”

When asked about the soundbite, Obama suggested that maybe Jordan’s focus is in the wrong place.

“Michael wasn’t very well informed about this,” Obama told radio host Earl Stokes of Wisconsin’s WJMR.

“I think he might’ve just been trying to give Ahmad an extra ratings boost on his show. There is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course, if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case.”

Obama then finished off with this zinger:  “He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats or maybe the Hornets.”

The Hornets are currently 2-3, although of course, its early in the season.
