What do you get when you take your love of film outside of the classroom? A invitation to one of the world’s top film schools!

HBCU Digest reports:

North Carolina A&T State University alumnus and aspiring filmmaker Jelani Elom may have been rejected by several domestic film schools, but will soon begin his journey to Hollywood at one of the world’s most prestigious institutes of cinematic arts – the London Film School.

Elom, who graduated from NCA&T in May, will join more than 100 postgraduate students at the school this fall, which boasts famous directors Michael Mann and Ali Mustafa as graduates.

Elom credits A&T for instilling the work ethic and faith to continuing believing in his dream, even after facing multiple rejections from other schools.

Congrats to Jelani!
