They say there’s a time and place for everything and it looks like Kanye West found that out in London.

Apparently he felt like letting loose with one of his patented rants and the audience wasn’t having it ’cause that’s not what they paid for.

It seems Mr. West – who was filling in for Drake, who fell ill and had to cancel – pissed off the audience at the Wireless Festival and drew the fury of the crowd after he took a break from his set to rant onstage for 20 minutes about discrimination in the fashion industry.

“I’m not going to mention any names but… Nike, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Don’t discriminate against me cause I’m a black man making music,” West told his audience.

He also complained to the crown about the media:

“I’m not particularly angry but they’ve taken the idea of celebrity and tried to make me seem like I’m stupid or something. People keep looking at me like I got a problem or something, like I’m not doing something I’m meant to. The lies, the media, they want to make you feel like you’re less to them in their eye.”

But the audience apparently could care less and serious booing ensued.

The Mirror newspaper reports that angry fans took to Twitter asking for a refund.

“There is a time and place to get on your soap box @kanyewest and #wireless is not the place,” according to one Twitter user.
