The Florida A&M Rattlers, who already have been one of the biggest surprises in all of college baseball this season, picked up their biggest win in years Wednesday night, shocking No. 6-ranked Florida, 4-3, in Gainesville.

Tallahassee.com reports:

FAMU, under first-year head coach Jamey Shouppe, led for most of the game and earned their first win in 19 tries against the Gators. Last season, UF bombed the Rattlers by a score of 22-1.

Shouppe and the Rattlers are now 18-21 with wins against Jacksonville University, North Florida and now Florida. FAMU won just seven games each of the past two seasons.
