In the latest example of our legal system needing a serious overhaul, a self-described homeless woman in L.A. is suing several stars and a movie studio in order to have a captive audience in court to pitch her idea for a TV show.

According to TMZ, Jo Anne Vandegriff has filed a lawsuit against Halle Berry, Amanda Bynes, Armie Hammer, and Disney in a ploy to get everyone in a room so she can sell her 2,000-page original Civil War romance mini-series, “Heaven’s Angels.”

Vandegriff describes her script as “an extraordinary work in its length, complexity, and scope, though not yet a masterpiece work.”

The ballsy woman is hoping that hauling Halle into court will inspire her to star in the series and that Disney will consider being more diverse. It sounds like Vendegriff fell asleep watching that horrible waste of acetate that Berry appeared in last year, “Movie 43″ where a washed up producer pitches insane story lines featuring some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. Granted, Halle could use a fresh look but we don’t think this is it.
