The New York Daily News is reporting that a Chinese man jumped to his death after arguing with his girlfriend over her shopping habits.
According to reports, 38-year-old Tao Hsiao committed suicide in a crowded mall located in the city of Xuzhou.
A Chinese website, Guanming Online reports that the couple was arguing before the man climbed over the railing located on the seventh floor of the Golden Eagle Shopping Complex.
Witnesses report that the couple was arguing over the woman’s expensive shopping choices. The woman reportedly asked to visit one more shoe store before the man jumped over the railing.
