50 Cent has managed to avoid jail time for allegedly kicking his baby mama and destroying property in her condo by striking a plea deal.
According to the Associated Press, domestic violence charges against the rapper were dropped, and instead he was sentenced to three years probation and 30 days of community service for vandalism.
“The agreement called for Mr. Jackson to plead no contest to a single count of misdemeanor vandalism, which deals with the door of the apartment that was damaged and owned by the landlord,” 50′s attorney Scott Leemon in a statement. “All remaining counts, including, the domestic violence charge will be dismissed. He has agreed to perform community service, attend counseling sessions and will be on unsupervised probation for a period of three years.”
Fiddy, whose real name is Curits Jackson, was also ordered to pay $7,100 in restitution to his former girlfriend Daphne Joy. As we reported earlier, Daphne claimed the 38-year-old entertainer assaulted her, kicked down her bedroom door and destroyed $7,000 worth of property in her Toluca Lake, Calif. condo on June 23.
A previous restraining order banning Jackson from contacting Joy remains in place.
