Reverend Al Sharpton has announced that he is moving to Chicago, Illinois to promote  gun violence awareness in the troubled city.

Sharpton is moving into an undisclosed apartment in the West Side of the city, he plans to commute between New York City weekly for the next three months.

He will be joined by Martin Luther King III, the son of the late civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

He hopes working and living from the city will bring attention to the continued gun violence happening in the city.
