Kelly Price confirms the rumors are true: their will be a R&B Divas Tour!
The “Friend of Mine” singer recently sat down for an interview with CNikky.com and she revealed that rehearsals for a joint tour with Atlanta and Los Angeles cast members are starting soon.
“There is Faith Evans, myself, Brownstone, Dawn Robinson, Keke Wyatt and Chante Moore,” she said of the show’s lineup.
As for be beef with co-star Chante Moore, Kelly said it isn’t stopping them from making money together.
“I know that it raises questions but, you know, again I will make this statement. People are trying to make a television show. If there was a danger of anything happening to Chante Moore being in the same intimate space with me, we would not be going on the road together,” she said. “And Miss Moore did agree to come on this tour.”
She went on to say the lineup — which excludes divas Syleena Johnson, Lil’ Mo, Monifah, Michel’le, Claudette Ortiz, LaTocha Scott and Angie Stone — was a decision made by the promoter.
“That is the promoters call. There are people who back the show and they put the money up and it is 100% their call,” she said.
