New details have emerged about the weddings of Kerry Washington and Tina Turner, and let’s just say both ceremonies were night and day.
According to reports, Washington said “I do” to NFL star Nnamdi Asomugha in a traditonal and intimate ceremony in Idaho.
“Everything was held at one of Kerry’s friend’s houses,” a source told PEOPLE. “They flew a few people out on this little private plane. The house was beautiful.”
“It was small, just family and close friends,” the source said. “They said their own vows, people stayed at the house. It was really simple and sweet.”
The source added that the “Scandal” star’s dress “was really regular.”
“The dress was plain white, slim-fitting, like it could have been off a rack,” they said.
Tina Turner, who recently took her second trip down the aisle this month, went for everything but traditional for her massive wedding ceremony in Switzerland.
According to TMZ, the superstar married Erwin Bach in a green gown, reportedly custom-designed by Giorgio Armani.
The couple, who had been dating for nearly 30 years, had a Buddhist-inspired ceremony with 120 guests, including Oprah, David Bowie and Bryan Adams.
