According to the U.S. Census Bureau, white children will not make up the majority of America’s youth in just a couple of years.

Data shows that in approximately six years, minority groups will make up almost half of the population in 2019.

The Associated Press reported in 2012, that more than half of babies being born in the United States are minorities. Thus, these kids will make up almost 50% of the workforce once they reach adulthood.

This change in demographic make up is called “minority-majority”, according to CNN, this means that “not one single racial or ethnic group will make up more than half of the population.”

CNN also reports that currently white [non-Hispanic] people account for 63% of the United States, citing that in 2041 they will make up for less than half of America’s population.
