Despite her anti-Obama views during the election, Ann Coulter has decided to wave the white flag when it comes to the fiscal cliff.

The outspoken Republican commentator took Sean Hannity by surprise on Wednesday when she said the GOP should give up the fight over raises taxes for the rich.

Hannity suggested that the House should have created a bill extending the Bush tax cuts for all income earners.  But, Coulter disagreed.

“OK fine, let’s do that, but in the end, at some point, if the Bush tax cuts are repealed and everyone’s taxes go up, I promise your Republicans will get blamed for it,” Coulter said. “It doesn’t mean you cave on everything, but there are some things Republicans do that feed into what the media is telling America about Republicans.”

“So are you saying that, for PR purposes that they should give in to Obama on the tax rate?” Hannity responded.

“Not exactly, I…Well, yeah I guess I am,” Coulter concluded.

“You’re saying capitulate to Obama?” Hannity tried to clarify. “We don’t have a revenue problem, Ann.”

“We lost the election, Sean!” Coulter retorted.

Coulter is not the only Republican that believes they should concede in the tax negotiations. Bill Kristol, a conservative analyst and commentator suggested that it wouldn’t “kill” millionaires if their taxes went up.
