Rihanna is offering not one but three different editions of her upcoming album, “Unapologetic,” with one version carrying a price tag of $250.
The singer will release her 7th album on Nov. 16 in its standard form and as a deluxe version featuring bonus tracks. But on Dec. 11, she’ll release what’s being called the Diamonds Executive Platinum Box” on a limited basis.
For $250, you get the CD with every bonus track, plus collectible colored vinyl remixes of her single “Diamonds,” an 11 x 17 handwritten personal note from Rihanna, a 2GB credit card-style USB flash drive, unisex shirt featuring a photo of Rihanna taken during her “Unapologetic” album shoots by famed photographer Michael Muller, seven 12 x 15 lithographs featuring photos by Muller, a Magnus Voll Mathiassen illustration and exclusive “Unapologetic” images.
The box is also set to include a bunch of stickers, a custom notebook, posters and up to 20 minutes of DVD footage.
If $250 is too steep, a $79 box set will become available on Nov. 19, described as a “limited edition genuine, conflict-free diamond bracelet.” It features a black leather band and a brass disc with a 1pt diamond packaged in a signature R logo card, along with the deluxe version of the CD.
