Twenty-nine year old Dwayne Fields of East London will be the second black man to reach the North Pole. The Jamaican-born explorer walked to the North Pole on his journey and will soon travel to the South Pole. He’s overcome tough odds – not on his travels – but right in his crime-filled neighborhood of Hackney. He’s been shot at twice, but the gunman missed him completely.
