Name calling, arrests, police, money debt, snitching, and gun drawing? It sounds like the plot of one of your favorite crime shows but instead it's the details surrounding the drama between comedians Faizon Love and Katt Williams.
Last week, Katt Williams was arrested and released with no charges after police was informed that Williams had a gun.
A day later, the TJMS broke the story first that during Williams' arrest he said, "Faison called the police on us and then ran in the club."
Since then the two have been embroiled in a heated controversy with Williams even coming out and calling Love a "bald-face rat" for calling the police on him.
Faizon Love joined the Tom Joyner Morning show to give what he says are the true details of the story.
According to Love, he didn't call the police, "I didn’t have to he's 4 foot 2." Instead, Faizon claims he and "his partner" took the gun from Katt, "we took the gun away from him, that's how tough he is," however, once he noticed the gun was unloaded, he decided to "give this little n**** his gun back."
Love explained to the TJMS crew that the drama between them is over failed payment. He says he was on a comedy tour with Katt Williams over a year ago, but says he dropped out of the tour because Katt was "slapping people."
However, even after he left the tour Katt continued to promote Love as an act when he wasn't performing.
Media outlets have been reporting that Katt Williams owed Love $50,000 but Love says that is innacurate, he is owed $50,000 from Katt Williams for falsely advertising him after he left the tour.
Love says he would never loan Katt Williams money, saying, "for what? to a crackhead."
Love told the crew he hopes to end the problems with Katt but he believes Katt did this because he knew it would get news coverage and because he's infatuated with "gang violence" which he is constantly trying to perpetuate with his large entourage.
However, Love says he grew up with gang violence and he does not want to be a part of that lifestyle anymore. He chose to talk exclusively with Tom and the the crew because he believes Tom is a leader of the black community and he wants the beef ended because, "[Katt Williams] wants to be tough. And that’s not the black life, man. We, our community is dying of gang violence" which he [Love] wants to end.
