Isn’t Phaedra Parks a lawyer?
Well, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star settled for a mere $2,500 in her $30 million lawsuit against Vibe Magazine.
Maybe that’s what she really wanted in the first place and we’re not seeing the victory in this one.
Anyway, Phaedra filed suit against the publication after they published a book called “Lies of a Real Housewife,” in which she claims a tainted picture was painted of her as a crooked attorney.
Vibe however, denied the allegations, and kept pushing it until she came up with the court docs.
She was originally asking for a whole lot more, but somehow was convinced in a short period of time that a couple of grand was good enough to keep them out of court.
According to TMZ, that’s not the half of it. Phaedra’s mother also filed a suit for $6 million; but guess how much she settled for? Are you ready for this ridiculousness?
