T’yanna Wallace, the daughter of late Notorious B.I.G, is paying tribute to her father in a major way.

Just a day after what would’ve been Biggie’s 41st birthday, the 19-year-old launched a fashion line of T-shirts and hats in his honor, titled “Notoriouss Clothing.”

The new venture has already stirred up a little controversy for the Pennsylvania State University fashion student. Some fans of the 90′s rapper have questioned T’yanna’s artistic direction and choice to use assault rifles for one of the shirt designs (considering her father lost his life due to gun violence in 1997).

There’s no word yet on where shoppers can purchase the items.

While I love the pop colors and manicure mania designs, a little bit of nude is so refreshingly classy and elegant. Designers such as Altuzarra, Rag and Bone, Zac Posen all went nude this spring. The effect was seamless and fingers looked elongated. I reached out to celebrity nail artist, Ajahmure Clovis to dish about the best nude polishes for women of color.

HelloBeautiful: What do you call your craftsmanship?

Ajahmure Clovis: I consider myself a manicurist by trade, but there is an art to doing nails.

HB: Who are some of the celebrities you’ve worked with?

AC: Tamar Braxton, J.R. Smith, Elle Varner, Angela Simmons, Selita Ebanks, singer Olivia from “Love and Hip Hop”. I’ve also worked with a lot of foreign dignitaries: the Prince and Princess of foreign countries.

Well, a Paris company named “Le Slip Francais” has a solution for you. The company has created underwear for men that have a sweet-smelling scent.

The underwear will be filled with micro-capsules that are filled with homemade perfume. According to the company, when a man moves, the underwear will release the perfume.

A Pakistani designer is finding herself in as much immediate trouble as that of someone who knocks down a hornets nest with a big stick…but doesn’t even attempt to run away. And the reason why is beyond absurd.

According to The Huffington Post, Aamna Aqeel, thought it would be a good idea to do an editorial photo shoot entitled “Be My Slave.”

In the spread, which was published in Diva magazine, a white model, wearing Ageel designs, is seen with what appears to be a little dark complected boy that is dressed up as a SLAVE. And the little boy is catering to the white woman in the pictures. Being that the shoot was called “Be My Slave” we are sure that our eyes are not deceiving us, and this is exactly what it looks like.

We frankly were shocked by any model, photographer or magazine who would lend their credibility to this spread at all. That is to say nothing of the parent that would allow for their child to be used in such a way.

The International Herald Tribune’s Salima Feerasta asked Aqueel about the spread and the answers were troubling at best.

Says Feerasta of Aqueel;

“Aqueel denied any intention of racism in the story. In fact, the designer’s aim was to shed light on the issue of child labor. She allegedly claimed that the dark-skinned Baloch child was incidental.”

Somewhere in a small section of hair hell, weaves and half wigs are looking up to us naturalistas wondering where it all went wrong. No longer just the thing to do, going or being natural is officially a revolution that’s being televised, documented, discussed and most importantly embraced.

So when I see my fellow beauty editors out at events, and we’re all sporting our fros and twist outs, my soul gets a little warm on the inside. Before I even began writing, please believe that I was checking for Julee Wilson. As the style and beauty editor for Huffington Post Black Voices, she interviewed me for a few of her beyond amazing feature stories. I instantly wanted to be her homie… and that we are.

So I returned the favor and decided to get her to drop a few hair gems for you beauties. Believe it or not, most natural girls didn’t always love their curls and are still figuring out how to solve a bad hair day.

HelloBeautiful: Have you always loved your hair?

Julee Wilson: Sadly, I haven’t. Which is probably why my hair was in such a deep depression. I only relaxed my hair for two years (when I was 12 and 13-years-old), but I’ve only really embraced my curls for the past three or four years. I always considered myself natural, but I constantly straightened my hair with heat. Although I still straighten my hair from time to time, I now consider myself CURL CRAZY!

HB: What’s your bad hair day solution?

JW: I love using a scarf to tie my hair up into a super-chic turban. It’s a protective style and fashion statement all-in-one!
