Woman Sues Online Dating Service for Killer Match

  • While some people find a match made in heaven on the internet, one online dater found herself at risk of losing her life.

    Mary Kay Beckman is suing Match.com for connecting her to a man that tried to killer her.

    The 50-year-old real estate agent said Wade Riley, the man she met online, tried to stab her only a week after dating.

    “He broke into my garage … When the police arrested him, he said he wasn’t there to hurt me. He was there to kill me. His intent was to kill me that night,” Beckman said.

    Riley allegedly stabbed Beckman ten times with a butcher knife until it broke off.  He then continued his assault by stomping on her head.
