There’s never any shortage of crazy college stories out there, but Jamar Darnell Thomas (pictured) might take the cake for one of the nuttiest campus tales in recent memory.

According to Online Athens, the 19-year-old got into a scuffle with his girlfriend at her apartment in the Lodge of Athens, a student housing community in Downtown Athens.,Ga., at 1:20 Tuesday morning. Arriving officers heard sounds of a struggle and a woman crying inside. When she answered the door, the 22-year-old unidentified victim had a bloody lip.

One officer reports having seen Jamar naked in the living room, next to a table with a milk jug and several plastic cups; one of the cups had two ping-pong balls inside.

Jamar told authorities he was naked because he’d been playing a version of beer pong where participants are required to remove their clothing. Sometime during, before or after the game, the two got into a political dispute about Democrats and Republicans that eventually devolved into physical altercation.

Devolved in the key word here. What a shame, this man is a embarassment. Why is it that people like him always make this news when millions of other great men can’t even get mentioned. God, I hope he was the one voteing republican.
