Rumor has it that Jessica Simpson’s parents are splitting because her father is gay.
Sources close to the family claim that Jessica’s manager and dad confessed to the family that he was not only gay but also had a 20-something boyfriend.
Jessica’s mother Tina filed for divorce in September after 34 years of marriage.
“Joe got the family together about two months ago and came out of the closet,” an insider revealed. “He told them that he’d tried to continue in his marriage to Tina, but he couldn’t go on any longer and deny the fact that he had these feelings for men. Joe said it wasn’t fair to her, and it wasn’t fair to him.”
