An assistant coach, Dion Robinson, for a pee-wee football team sucker-punched a referee, after he called an unsportsmanlike penalty on the team.
The referee, Andrew Keigans, was refereeing a game between the Miramar Patriots and West Park Saints.
Robinson was a coach for the West Park Saints.
According to reports, the 43-year-old Robinson is no stranger to law enforcement.
Robinson has been previously arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer, armed robbery, cocaine possession and distribution, and aggravated assault with a firearm.
He was arrested after the incident with the referee and is currently on a $1,000 bond.

What an idiot!!!!! My grandson plays Pop Warner football and this behavior is unacceptable hope he is not allowed to return to the football field. This is NOT what our children need to see
Disgrace , shame . and a Black Eye for the Black Community.
Is it any wonder why our kids are so messed up?!?!
They see deadbeat dads acting stupid, not working and being criminal
Send his butt back to jail!
So the ref was right on both calls, who ever the head coach is should have or did know of this guys backround, and not allow him around kids. What a role model this guy is. Another want to be football player, who didn’t make the high school team. He needs his butt beat, and jailed under 50 grand. And showed No Mercy
