Jacque Reid goes "Inside Her Story" with Chrystal Travis and David Wood about Wood's choice to birth a child via surrogate in India and raise it on his own as a single black male.
Wood has acted as a father figure for his cousins and at 49-years-old has decided to have a child of his own. Reid asked him as an available, heterosexual male, why not find a woman and have a baby, he responded, "I believe in dating the women, not dating a womb."
Going on to say, "you date the person, not the breeding capacity."
Wood made his first sperm deposit yesterday, with another on Thursday, and his sperm will finally be sent Monday to India tp begin the process.
According to Travis, they have found a "beautiful" Indian surrogate who favors Wood to have his baby with.
He plans on naming his child David or Chase.

Can anyone tell me the website of Chrystal Travis or how i can reach her pls?
Why are we giving this self hating idiot a voice? Tom I thought TJMS and BAW were about rising out of ignorance and fear. These days all you and your crew seem to want to do is giggle, laugh and make fun of the Black Experience. Do you think you have to if you want to stay on the air? Even Jay has grown stupid sounding and desperate for a laugh. Don’t get me wrong, I love comedy to death, but in it’s proper setting. Remember being Stepin Flechit didn’t work once, it sure won’t work twice. A laugh is good, but not all the time and through everything story. Even Sybil has resorted to trying to be a comedian instead of the beautiful, intelligent black woman she is. The reputation she earned.
