A Marion County man has been accused of having sexual acts with a miniature donkey named "Doodle."
Carlos Romero, 31, has pleaded not guilty to the charges of animal cruelty and his bail was set at $2,000 dollars.
According to a local newspaper, Romero says he plans to get his donkey back and believes that he is a victim.
Romero told reporters, "I want my donkey back…I paid $500 for her."
Gerald Joseph James caught Romero having sex with the donkey back in August.
However, Romero claims he did not have sex with the donkey but he admitted to the police that he had "intimate contact" with it.
He also admitted that he was planning to have sex with "Doodle" the donkey once she matured.
