A little over a week after it was announced that Randy Jackson would no longer be a judge on "American Idol" it has been announced that he has been re-hired.
According to reports, Jackson was only hired back because "Idol" execs were not able to come to terms with singer Enrique Iglesias.
Jackson was paid a little over $2 million dollars for his spot on the show, his cheap price was a deciding factor on putting him back on the show.
He has not released a statement on the story.
This will be his 12th season on the show.

I don’t think any of the judges have any more of an ear for talent than anybody else. How about a “unknown” as a judge but that might not improve ratings. I think there are too many talent shows on TV as it is and the public is tiring of these types of shows. OBAMA 2012
