Beyonce’s favorite duo Chloe x Halle are taking their talents to television. They have been announced as recurring cast members on the new Black-ish spinoff, Grown-ish, set to make its debut on Freeform (formerly ABC Family) later this fall.

Shadow and Act reports:

They will be recurring cast members, portraying twins Sky and Jazz, who are on the college’s track team. This will be the Beyoncé-signed singers’ first major acting role. If you remember from way back when, the sisters were in The Fighting Temptations (which starred Beyoncé).

Aside from the sisters, new series regulars are Francia Raisa (The Secret Life of the American Teenager) as Ana, an “outspoken conservative freshman” and Jordan Buhat (Summer of ’84) as Vivek, a first-generation Indian-American student at the college.

They join the previously announced series regulars: Trevor Jackson as a friend of Zoey’s and a socially conscious sophomore, Emily Arlook will be Zoey’s new friend Miriam, a freshman with a no-holds-barred attitude. Chris Parnell will portray the dean of Southern California University.

Both Shahidi and black-ish‘s Deon Cole, a grown-ish series regular, will concurrently appear on both shows, as well as Anthony Anderson (Dre) and Tracee Ellis Ross (Bow). Cole’s character Charlie will be an ad-exec by day on black-ish and a college professor on grown-ish.

The first season of the show will have 13 episodes and will be executive produced by Barris with Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland and Brian Dobbins.
