Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, is set to bring her singing talents to Fox’s “Empire” for the current third season.

Willis will play Tory Ash, a brilliant but volatile singer/songwriter whose talent becomes invaluable to Jamal (Jussie Smollett) as he creates his most important musical work yet, reports Deadline.com. Her own attempt to make a crossover comeback and her unwillingness to shy away from controversy will have ripple effects throughout Empire.

Best known as an actress like her parents, Rumer is also a singer, doing occasional club performances. She also won ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”

Willis will next be seen in a lead role opposite Audra McDonald in “Hello Again,” an indie feature adaptation of Michael John LaChiusa’s 1994 chamber musical, and in indie thriller “What Lies Ahead.”

  1. it has been white people on there before her. If she can act what difference does it matter if she is on the show or not. If we don’t want white people invited then we cannot get bent out of shape when they do stuff to us.

  2. Some folks must be complaining about the predominately African American cast of Lee Daniel’s
ghetto drama-EMPIRE and it’s lack of white folks.

Why must they always get invited to our parties!
