Travis Scott was hospitalized Sunday due to dehydration, according to an Instagram post by his manager, David Stromberg.

The picture showed Scott asleep in a hospital bed, along with the caption: “sunday.”

When fans expressed concern about the rapper’s condition and pressed for more details, Stromberg replied in the comments: “he’s fine. he was just dehydrated.”

Scott scored his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart last week with his sophomore release, “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.” The rapper recently discussed his new album with Billboard, saying the title “all stemmed from me having that frustration of just like wanting to do creative s— and just not being able to do it. It took five months for my action figure to come out. It took eight months for the Hype Williams video to come out. I just felt like I was confined in a box. I couldn’t do s— I wanted to do to help forward pop culture and music. It’s like motherf—ers still tryna hold me back so that was the whole gist of it.”

Last week, Universal Music Publishing Group’s CEO, Jody Gerson announced that the label signed a worldwide deal with the artist.

“I’ve been chasing Travis Scott for years. His talent and ambitions are limitless. He’s a rock star, as well as being a brilliant writer/producer,” Gerson stated.

Scott is also executive producing “Cruel Winter,” the second compilation album to be released on Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music.

Additionally, he recently released a 19-minute documentary called “La Flame,” which takes cameras into his life in the recording studio and on the road.
