She may be the greatest gymnast to ever walk the planet and work a floor routine like nobody’s business, but can Simone Biles do a paso doble?

We won’t know anytime soon. In a statement to People.com, Biles says she will not appear on the upcomign season of the popular reality show.

“With the tour going on, the fall [season] will be very, very hard to attend, so I can’t do that one,” Biles told Extra. I’m hoping for the spring [season]. If they would allow me to do that – that would be awesome.”

Biles’ USA teammate and fellow gold medalist Aly Raisman competed on season 16 of the ABC competition series in 2013, after she won gold in the 2012 London Olympics. She ultimately came in fourth place with partner Mark Ballas.

A source also tells E! News that “Bachelorette” JoJo Fletcher and former Disney star Jake T. Austin will join Biles to compete for the Mirrorball Trophy on season 23.

ABC wouldn’t comment on the casting report, but the full season 23 announcement will take place on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, Aug. 30. The season premieres on Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m.
