The winner of “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 4 is facing more than 10 years in prison after being charged with felony and misdemeanor domestic violence.

According to Deadline.com, the charges are in connection with attacks on Joshua Allen‘s girlfriend on April 13 and June 19. He “faces two felony counts of willfully injuring a girlfriend after a prior conviction and one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon, a glass vase,” said D.A. Jackie Lacey’s office Thursday.

Allen is also charged with two misdemeanor counts for disobeying a domestic relations criminal protective order with his girlfriend. As well, the 27-year old has simple battery and vandalism under $400 misdemeanor charges looming over him.

Allen, who was in 2010’s “StepUp3D” and the 2011 “Footloose” remake, had a January 13 conviction of “willfully injuring a girlfriend” – which is where the protective order came from. He then is alleged to have tried to strangle his estranged girlfriend this spring and last month he attacked her again and reportedly chased her into a coffee shop, where he got into altercations with bystanders who tried to intervene – which is how the glass vase became involved, as he threw it at one of them. Allen was later “subdued by other good Samaritans,” says the L.A. County D.A.’s office.

Prosecutors are going to ask for $270,000 in bail in the case – which is still under investigation by the LAPD.
