Loni Love has had enough.

The comedian has gone a step further than her previous Instagram post supporting Tamar Braxton in her firing from “The Real,” and has filmed a video for YouTube to set the record straight — a move she says was prompted after watching Wendy Williams express her belief this week that Love knew about Tamar’s firing when Love appeared on her show the previous Friday.

Loni revealed that she actually taped Friday’s “Wendy” on Thursday and didn’t find out about Tamar’s firing until Saturday.

“I love you Wendy, but I have to say I didn’t know,” Loni says in the video.

According to Loni, none of the co-hosts were aware that Tamar was leaving until she texted them Saturday in their group chat, saying “I heard I’m being fired.” Loni said the first person to respond was Tamera. Loni responded after waking up from a two-hour nap and immediately called Tamar, but did not get a response.

Loni said the network officially informed her Saturday night about Tamar’s firing. When she asked for the reason, Loni said producers would not say.

Blogger Love B. Scott cites sources who say Tamar was fired because of negative feedback from focus groups and advertisers who were turned off by her personality:

The focus group research showed that most educated and working women did not identify with Tamar’s show vernacular and her use of words known to be popular among drag queens and some gay men – phrases like “get your life,” “where they do that at,” “have several seats.”

‘It was even said she seemed more suited to be a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race on Logo instead of a talk show host on The Real,’ revealed the source.

‘The research went on to say that most educated and working women found her to be ‘ghetto’ and that her aggressive eye-rolling, neck-rolling and the smacking of her mouth were indicative of ‘stereotypical behavior that African-American women have worked years to overcome,” the source continued.

Since news broke of Tamar’s firing, Loni had been largely singled out by Braxton’s “Tamartians” as the one pulling all the strings. But according to her video, she was just as blindsided by all of this as the rest of us.
