Fox on Monday released promos for its upcoming shows, among them the midseason additions “Shots Fired,” starring Sanaa Lathan, the “24” spinoff “24: Legacy” starring Corey Hawkins and the return of “Prison Break.”
SHOTS FIRED:
This “event series” from Gina Prince-Bythewood examines the dangerous aftermath of racially charged shootings in a small Southern town. Sanaa Lathan plays an investigator from the Department of Justice looking into a shooting of a white teen by black cops in a small town in Tennessee that triggers racial unrest. Richard Dreyfuss, Helen Hunt, Stephan James and Tristan Wilds also star.
24: LEGACY:
This “24” spinoff debuts with a special two-night event beginning Sunday, Feb. 5 (10-11 p.m. ET/7-8 p.m PT), following Super Bowl LI, and continuing with its time period premiere on Monday, Feb. 6 (8-9 p.m. ET/PT). The series stars Corey Hawkins in an adrenaline-fueled race against the clock to stop a devastating terrorist attack on United States soil – in the same real-time format that has propelled this genre-defining series.
