After hanging in for two seasons, CBS has cancelled its most recent “CSI” spinoff, “CSI: Cyber.”

The fourth show in the franchise, starring Ted Danson, Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek and Shad Moss (a.k.a Bow Wow), has suffered from low ratings while airing on Sunday nights, according to Entertainment Weekly:

The drama, which launched in midseason last year, has only averaged around 8.5 million viewers – not a lot by CBS standards – and a modest 1.5 rating among adults 18-49.

“CSI: Cyber’ followed an elite team of FBI Special Agents tasked with investigating cyber crimes in North America. Moss played FBI analyst Brody Nelson, a former black hat hacker who was caught and later recruited by FBI Cyber to hack for good.
