Actress Aunjanue Ellis (True Blood, The Book of Negroes) plays Miranda Shaw on ABC’s hit new show, Quantico. The sexy drama follows the recruits as they have arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training, but soon after they are under investigation after one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11.
She talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about her role in the hit show and being an avid supporter of removing the Confederate Flag in her hometown of Mississippi.
“We are a group of people who really are motivated on this issue and we’re trying to get the nation motivated. We had a chance last month in February to vote it down, but they introduced 12 bills and our didn’t come up to vote, so it’s a fight.”
Quantico, airing Sunday nights on ABC at 10p/9pm CST.
