Toni Braxton and Babyface released a collaborative studio album titled “Love, Marriage & Divorce” back in 2014. The album spawned the #1 hit, “Hurt You,” and earned the duo a Grammy Award in 2015.

The two artists subsequently toured together, leaving fans hoping they may team again on a duets album. Well, as it turns out, they will!

During her visit last week to the Sway in the Morning, Braxton gave a surprise answer to the burning question as to whether she and Babyface will collaborate again: “Yes, we’re going to do Love, Marriage & Divorce, Part 2.” She went on to say that no recording has occurred yet, but that the two stars are “talking” details.

Back during their promotional efforts for “Love, Marriage & Divorce,” Toni explained her relationship with Babyface to Billboard in a 2014 interview. “We broke up and got back together,” she said, with Babyface adding: “We’ve gone back and forth on some ideas. But I’ve let this be Toni’s record. Every key is her key.”

Toni has sold over 67 million records, including 41 million albums, worldwide. She has won seven Grammy Awards, nine Billboard Music Awards, seven American Music Awards and numerous other awards. Babyface has written and produced over 26 No. 1 R&B hits throughout his career, and has won 11 Grammy Awards.

In 2011, Toni and her family signed on for WE tv’s reality show “Braxton Family Values,” which chronicles her life and career, and her singing sisters’ quest for super stardom. Braxton serves as executive producer of the series, as well as on the spin-off show starring her younger sister, Tamar and her music-producer husband Vince. On September 18, 2011, Braxton was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.

As previously reported, Lifetime’s Toni Braxton biopic, “Unbreak My Heart,” was “ad-supported cable’s top-rated movie in key demos in one year – averaging 3.6 million viewers, including 1.7 million adults 18-49 and 1.8 million adults 25-54.”
