Bow Wow sees the lack of melanin in late night television and feels someone has to do something.

“I learned so much [hosting 106 & Park] to the point [where] I will have my own late-night show coming,” the rapper/actor announced Wednesday on Instagram. He said his talk show will target “college kids and high school students who have nothing to watch at 10pm.”

The 28-year-old, who now goes by his real name Shad Moss, continued: “I felt I HAD to do this. There’s no platform for hip-hop artists no more. Where can they go to promote on TV other than REVOLT (they still growing). That’s crazy. One outlet?!!”

Without mentioning a production company, network or timetable, Bow Wow added, “I get to run my own show content etc… We will have the best producers and showrunners in the game! Music will play an important key to the show. I want to help the culture and this is my way of giving back to the game that made me!”

Bow Wow says he hopes to get Kendrick Lamar, Michelle Obama, and J. Cole as guests, and hopes to kick the show off with Kobe Bryant.

“Get ready, I’m going through set designs now,” he said.
