Sheree Whitfield took to Twitter on January 17 to gush about a new series deal she was negotiating with HGTV, but now it seems that her dreams of scoring a second reality show has been squashed. Whitfield’s alleged new series would have focused on the nearly 5-year construction of her Chateau Sheree estate.

“It’s time for my spinoff to show the finishing touches on #chateausheree Come on @hgtv,” she tweeted. When a fan asked Whitfield what the show was called, she replied, “Must sign the deal first and then I will let you know luv!” This led many to conclude that the show would be headed to production soon. As it turns out, new reports claim her deal with HGTV is never going to happen.

A representative tells Radaronline, “At this time, Sheree does not have a contract with HGTV for a show.”

“It appears that she is interested in having her own HGTV show to showcase her renovations but we do not have any plans for that currently,” added the rep.

As previously reported, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” guest star has yet to move into Chateau Sheree primarily because of money problems. She’s in the midst of suing the construction company due to structural problems of the property.

“Sheree hasn’t been able to come up with the money needed to finish the house. Her ex-husband Bob’s bankruptcy impacted her, as well as getting hit for tons of money in back taxes. Who knows if she will ever be able to move into it,” an Insider told Radar Online back in November.

In her Bravo blog, Sheree admitted to financial problems, and said she “took on an enormous project with my family and clearly got in way over my head.”
