Dear Tom,
I am writing in about my son’s godfather. He has been in my son’s life since before he was born. my son is 8 years old and ever since he was five years old he and his wife Nikki, have flown him to Texas so that he can have one-on-one time with a positive male role model.
My son says the highlight of his summers are mm (man talk Monday’s). He says uncle nick teaches him life lessons and he enjoys them. He is so humble and when I thank him, he says no thank you for allowing me to be in his life.
I must add that nick is a husband, father of 1 daughter and full time pastor. However, he commits himself to my son every summer and then takes the time to call and check up on him throughout the year. I would like to publicly thank nick and let him know that he is making a huge and positive impact in my son’s life. He goes above and beyond his duties as godfather.
