Chrisette Michele has written many passionate love songs but even they don’t measure up to the drama of her real-life love life. Michele, who starred on R&B Divas didn’t want to participate in the drama on the show, because she’s apparently got her share offscreen.
She’s engaged to her producer, Doug Ellison. The two announced it via social media today.

But what makes this engagement unusual is that the two once sued each other for millions of dollars a couple years ago. In 2007, Chrisette filed a lawsuit against her former management team Four Kings, Douglas’ production company, for embezzlement. The case was later dropped.
One year later, Ellison filed a $20 million dollar law suit against Michele for damaging his reputation and for money lost.
Apparently, they resolved their personal and legal issues.
Love conquers all, even court cases.
